Dollars and sense?

Failed 2008 Republican Presidential contender Mitt Romney is once
again foundering in the polls for the 2012 nomination. The staunch
Mormon recently declared that, as President he would cut funding to the National
Endowment of the Arts (NEA) to the tune of 50%.  The NEA's annual budget
amounts to aprox USD155 million, one of the smallest appropriations of the US
Federal Budget. In 2008, Romney spent USD 90 million on his failed  Presidential
