| Auckland Art Gallery Opens September 3 |

The date is set! The Auckland Art Gallery will re-open to the public, midday, Sept 3. Following a NZD121 million dollar upgrade, the new and improved central city gallery will feature an ultra modern new look with 75% more exhibition space. It is also the new home to part of the noted Robertson Collection including works by Picasso, Dali, Matisse, Derain and Braque. The Auckland Art Gallery's permanent collection of 14,620 works will also have slightly more breathing room!
